Rooms were old repainted. It had a flair of old. Service? There was supposed to be to be bottled water in the rooms. We stayed for 12 days and had to ask every afternoon for water. Once we spoke to our regular chamber maid, the service was done in impeccable. Meaning fresh towels and sheets, replenished coffee/tea packets and floors were mopped, sink clean and room was tidy. We love her so much we gave her a tip at the end. The location was the best as the rail metro line was close by and easy to access. Make sure you purchase a Metro card and top it off. 100 turkish lira TL for card with 30 TL on the card. It is 15 TL per ride or swipe. If you walk everywhere you’ll hit 22 thousand steps per day on the average so bring good comfortable shoes! Fresh pomegranate juice should cost no more than 100TL but there are many vendors that will sell at 150TL. There is a huge park just to the south of the Orient hotel. Great place to sit have lunch or dinner and watch everyone walk by.

Rooms are nice but right next to the elevators. We'll 302/301 are. If staying at the front try to get a high floor as the trams are noisey and there is no sound proofing if somebody above you. Rooms are decorated well and clean with fridge and good shower. Good resturant close by called Fulane. Breakfast location is dark and not very satisfying. However good choice available.

As the train embarked on its journey, I was treated to breathtaking views of picturesque landscapes passing by. The personalized service provided by the staff added a touch of refinement to the experience, making me feel like a cherished guest. Dining in the beautifully appointed dining car was a culinary adventure in itself. The gourmet meals prepared by talented chefs were a harmonious blend of flavors, and the presentation was a work of art. Sharing conversations with fellow travelers and enjoying live music performances created an atmosphere of camaraderie and sophistication. Every moment on the Orient Express was a treasure, from sipping cocktails in the plush bar car to retreating to my cozy cabin for a restful night's sleep. This experience was a dream come true, and I left with memories that will forever be etched in my heart. The Orient Express is not just a mode of transportation; it's a journey into the past, a celebration of luxury, and an unforgettable escape from the ordinary.

The hotel is centrally located and ideal for a short stay. Room was a bit small by western standard but is livable for no more than1 or 2 nites. We were only there for one nite. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. You have to walk a bit with your luggages to get there bc cars do not drop off in front of hotel. Overall it is a good hotel for short stay for a sigle or two max persons to be close to everything.

Absolutely terrible service !!!!!!! Once I made the booking I’ve called them They advised me that they may take a payment on the arrival day or not but they choose to take 2day before. Unfortunately the payment didn’t work. Card problem which I could easily resolve but the hotel decided to cancel my booking even though I’ve requested them that I’ve updated my card or I’ve got other payment plans either card or cash. I was at the hospital after surgery they gave me a very hard time. They did not care they hang up on me twice. When I asked to rebook me they go fully booked now. And they can’t help. What an absolute joke this is a terrible place with horrible staff. Don’t ruin your holiday by staying here amongst these clowns.

The hotel is clean and very hospitable as all the people and places in Istanbul. I loved especially the fact that they changed used towels every day. The restaurant offers very good food at breakfast, with a variety of dishes, turkish tea and coffee, sweets, yoghurt and fresh salad and parsley leaves. The Rooftop restaurant also has a wonderful view of the Bosphorus Strait.

I really appreciate the helpfulnesses of the staff during a difficult period I went over. They are amazing! Honestly I didn’t expect to have such support and kindness. The hotel is a bit noisy but this didn’t stop us from having a great stay. The location is great!

Nice hotel, good cleaning staff, location is excellent. Bit weird situation with the bedsheets though, should be one more sheet on the bed. We got one on day two, but the third day it was gone again.
